At Avalon, we provide a comprehensive range of services tailored to support individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Our approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based care, and accessibility, with services available to those with MaineCare as well as self-pay options. We offer both individual and group counseling to meet diverse treatment needs, including specialized substance use and mental health counseling. For individuals requiring a more structured level of care, our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a minimum 31-day program, running five days a week, designed to help clients manage moderate to severe substance use disorders in a supportive group setting.

Avalon also provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), combining medical and clinical support to assist individuals in their recovery journey using medications proven effective in treating substance use disorders. This integrated approach allows for comprehensive care under the guidance of a dedicated team of providers. Additionally, we offer the Seeking Safety program, a group designed to address co-occurring substance use and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), providing a safe space for healing and recovery.

Our services also include the Driver Education & Evaluation Program (DEEP), which offers evaluations and treatment for those navigating the legal and behavioral impacts of impaired driving.
