The Driver Education Evaluation Program (DEEP) provides thorough follow-up assessments after individuals successfully complete the required education weekend. This program is designed to help individuals meet DEEP requirements and supports them throughout the process of driver’s license reinstatement. The DEEP evaluation involves a series of 2-4 sessions, including a concerned person interview, and is priced at $475. Payment is required in full before scheduling the first appointment, as insurance does not cover the cost of the evaluation.
In addition to the initial assessment, ongoing counseling services are available to ensure individuals continue to meet DEEP requirements and receive the support they need. Lotus Recovery Counseling works closely with DEEP, handling the referral process and ensuring proper communication for scheduling. The program accepts several insurance providers, including MeCare/Medicaid, Martins Point (MMC), Cigna/Evernorth, Mednet, Community Health Options, and Optum/United Health Care, offering flexibility for clients to access the care they need.
