York Hospital's Recovery Center

Our Recovery Center offers leading outpatient treatment for substance use disorders (SUDs) in the Seacoast area, providing a comprehensive and individualized approach to recovery. Staffed by a dedicated team of licensed counselors, nurses, medical providers, and recovery coaches, we bring years of experience and a strong track record of success in helping individuals overcome addiction. Every patient receives a personalized plan of care, which may include intake and assessment, individual counseling sessions, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), group intensive outpatient programming (IOP), specialized outpatient groups focused on recovery maintenance and life skills, and ongoing recovery coaching. Recovery coaching is recommended for all clients, both during treatment and for continued support afterward.

Rapid access to care is one of our top priorities. Trained staff are available to connect individuals with appropriate services, ensuring that urgent needs are met swiftly and compassionately. For those in crisis or experiencing withdrawal outside of regular hours, assessments and medical support are available through our Emergency Department to facilitate safe transitions into treatment.

We are also committed to reducing barriers to care. Through collaboration with our Health Care Help Center, we offer financial assistance and support with transportation, prescriptions, and community resources. Our team works closely with each client’s broader healthcare providers, including primary care and mental health professionals, to ensure a coordinated, patient-centered experience that supports long-term recovery.
