Outpatient Services – DWI/DUI Classes
Our DWI/DUI educational classes are designed to provide participants with essential knowledge to make informed and responsible decisions regarding alcohol use and driving. Led by a professionally certified Addictions Counselor, the series offers a comprehensive overview of critical topics related to impaired driving. Participants will learn about Maryland’s DWI/DUI laws and the legal consequences of driving under the influence. The classes also cover the personal and social impacts of alcohol use, including the effects on health, relationships, and overall well-being.
Key areas of focus include understanding the nature of addiction, recognizing how substance use can affect family and friends, and exploring recovery resources such as 12-step groups. The sessions are structured to encourage meaningful discussion and promote awareness of safer, healthier lifestyle choices. These classes aim to educate individuals on the risks associated with impaired driving while providing tools for long-term behavioral change.
