Dorchester County Addictions Program

Dorchester County Behavioral Health (DCBH) provides comprehensive and high-quality outpatient treatment for individuals dealing with substance use disorders (SUD), gambling, and other behavioral health issues. The program is CARF accredited and focuses on supporting underserved and high-risk populations who frequently use healthcare services due to their conditions. DCBH offers a wide range of services, including Level 0.5 Early Intervention/DWI Education, Level 1 Outpatient Services, and Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Services. For those in need of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), psychiatric evaluations, or inpatient residential care, DCBH coordinates referrals to appropriate resources. Treatment is available for both adolescents (ages 12-17) and adults, with options for in-person and telehealth services.

The program collaborates with several local support services, including the Dorchester County Drug Court, Veterans Court Programs, and other community-based recovery resources like Harm Reduction and the Dri Dock and Recovery Wellness Center.
