DUI/DWI Education Program
Port Recovery IOP offers a state-licensed DUI/DWI Education Program that complies with all Maryland regulations and is recognized by the Maryland judicial system and Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA). The program provides education and treatment services for individuals required to complete alcohol-related courses due to DUI or DWI offenses.
Participants can enroll in a 12-hour Alcohol Education Program (AEP) or a more intensive 26-week Alcohol Treatment Program, which incorporates the AEP curriculum for a comprehensive approach to addressing substance use. Both programs aim to help individuals understand the impact of alcohol use on driving, make healthier choices, and meet legal requirements set by the courts or the MVA.
The program offers flexible intake and assessment sessions throughout the week to accommodate participants' schedules. Fees for the program include an intake fee and a per-session fee for group participation.
