The Bergand Group

The Bergand Group offers state-certified DUI and DWI educational programs in Baltimore and Harford Counties, Maryland, providing comprehensive support for individuals required to attend educational courses following a DUI or DWI. These programs are approved by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH), and are designed to meet court or licensing requirements. The DUI Education Program consists of weekly two-hour sessions held for six weeks, allowing participants to begin at any time and complete the program at their own pace. This flexible schedule helps participants retain information and understand the material more effectively.

In addition to the mandatory Alcohol Education Program, The Bergand Group also offers aftercare services for clients who have completed their education. Aftercare groups are recommended for second and third-time offenders, with sessions lasting 26 to 52 weeks depending on individual needs and the severity of the offense. The program provides a holistic approach to substance abuse treatment, with clients evaluated for additional services such as Intensive Outpatient Treatment. This comprehensive program structure ensures that participants not only fulfill their legal obligations but also receive the ongoing support necessary for long-term recovery.
