Harrington’s Behavioral Health Department offers comprehensive treatment for individuals of all ages, addressing both mental health disorders and substance use. Their multidisciplinary approach focuses on the whole person, providing a complete continuum of care. The department offers a range of outpatient services for children, adults, and seniors, with clinicians trained in modern therapies to treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other cognitive behavioral issues. Child and adolescent services include clinical counseling, play therapy, art therapy, and family therapy, available in both English and Spanish.

In response to the opioid crisis, Harrington provides specialized recovery outpatient services that include intensive outpatient therapy, diagnostic evaluations, group and individual therapy, DUI classes, and family addiction support. Medications like Suboxone, methadone, and Vivitrol, along with psychiatric medication management, are offered to assist with addiction recovery.

Harrington also has inpatient services, including a 24-bed adult psychiatric unit for expert diagnosis and treatment. The Co-Occurring Disorders unit, located in Webster, treats individuals with both mental health and substance use disorders. This unit works closely with partial hospitalization programs and other care models to help patients transition back to their daily lives. With a team of experienced clinicians and a focus on compassionate care, Harrington’s Behavioral Health Department is committed to providing the support needed for recovery and mental health wellness.
