The Alcohol Highway Safety and Victim Impact Panel programs offer crucial education and support for individuals facing alcohol or drug-related driving offenses. The Alcohol Highway Safety course is a 7.5-hour, non-judgmental session designed to help adults understand the consequences of alcohol and drug use while driving, providing them with the tools to make informed decisions. The Victim Impact Report panel is a 3.5-hour session where participants can engage with speakers to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of impaired driving. Both classes are conducted virtually via Zoom, with materials sent by mail upon registration.
Additionally, Catholic Human Services offers the Prime For LifeĀ® program, a 9-12 hour course aimed at helping individuals recognize and prevent alcohol and drug-related problems. The course provides a solid foundation for making better decisions regarding substance use.
For those seeking ongoing recovery support, Catholic Human Services provides comprehensive outpatient treatment for alcohol and drug recovery. Their approach is holistic, addressing mind, body, and spirit, with personalized recovery plans based on evidence-based practices. Services include individual and group therapy, family counseling, and peer recovery support, with the option for virtual or in-person sessions. Financial assistance is available through sliding scale fees and client assistance funds, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent individuals from receiving the help they need.
