At Macomb Family Services, we view addiction as a progressive disease that not only affects the individual but also has a significant impact on their loved ones. We approach substance abuse with a comprehensive strategy that includes treatment, prevention, and education. Our treatment services cater to individuals, families, and partners, offering both individual and group therapy as well as specialized support for adolescents. We also work with families to help them understand and cope with the challenges addiction presents.

In addition to treatment, we are committed to preventing substance abuse through programs designed for young people. By collaborating with local schools, we educate students on the dangers of substance abuse and teach them vital life skills to navigate challenges they may face, from kindergarten through high school.

Macomb Family Services also provides other essential services, including substance abuse evaluations and driver’s license evaluations. These evaluations are available to anyone in need, regardless of whether they are currently enrolled in treatment programs. Our substance abuse evaluation provides an assessment of substance use and mental health history, followed by a treatment recommendation. The driver’s license evaluation determines readiness to regain driving privileges and includes a drug screen. All services are offered at our four locations across Macomb County, and appointments can be scheduled for those in need of assistance.
