Our agency specializes in providing educational services and assessments for individuals facing consequences related to alcohol and substance use. We offer Alcohol Highway Safety Education Classes, which are often required for license reinstatement following drunk driving offenses. These classes, held the last Saturday of every month, run for eight hours and cover topics such as Michigan State laws, the addiction process, the physiological and psychological effects of substance use, identifying underlying issues related to abuse, and strategies for preventing future offenses. Additionally, participants may attend a victim impact panel and MADD classes as part of the educational component.
We also provide Court Assessments in the Tri-County Area, Michigan, through a state-licensed Diagnostic Assessment Center. Our approach emphasizes creating a comfortable, non-clinical environment, allowing for a personalized experience. We focus on thorough preparation to ensure a successful outcome for clients seeking to regain their driver's license. This includes a formal assessment, a ten-panel urinalysis screening, assistance with written testimonials, and coaching on how to present your case to the Driver's License Appeal Division (DLAD).
For those who have been involved in recent drunk driving or drug-related offenses, we offer specialized assessments for District and Circuit Courts as well as DLAD appeals. A comprehensive substance abuse evaluation is essential to demonstrate responsibility and can significantly improve the chances of a favorable outcome. Our thorough assessments consider personal drinking history, family background, and other factors to determine the severity of the substance use issue, ensuring a clear path for license reinstatement.
