Comprehensive Continuum of Care at PNLH

PNLH provides a holistic and person-centered approach to addiction treatment through a robust Continuum of Care, offering multiple levels of support to meet clients’ unique recovery needs. The process begins with Withdrawal Management at an ASAM Level 3.7 facility, where clients receive 24/7 nursing care and medical supervision under the guidance of addictionologist Dr. Raymond Edison. This service ensures a safe and as comfortable a withdrawal experience as possible.

Following detox, clients can transition to Residential Services (ASAM Levels 3.5 and 3.7), which offer a structured environment with daily group therapy, weekly individual sessions, and holistic interventions like yoga and acupuncture. The program uses evidence-based models, including the LIGHT Model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused care through “TREM” and “Seeking Safety” interventions.

For those seeking more autonomy, the Intensive Outpatient Program with Domicile (IOPD) provides 4.5 hours of daily therapy, five days a week, while clients reside in PNLH-furnished housing. Housing expenses such as rent, utilities, and Wi-Fi are fully covered. The IOPD offers programs for mixed-gender groups, women-specific groups, and men-only programs.

Another option is the Enhanced Outpatient Program with Domicile (EOPD), which combines outpatient services with the stability of PNLH recovery housing. Clients receive individual and group counseling while residing in safe, supportive living arrangements, promoting long-term recovery.

Finally, the Outpatient Program (OP) allows for maximum flexibility, offering individual therapy and group sessions on a weekly basis. Counseling intensity is tailored to each client's recovery progress, and comprehensive case management and peer support services are included.

With a strong commitment to accessible care, PNLH ensures continuity of treatment even during COVID-19 by offering virtual therapy sessions using secure video conferencing technology.
