About the 48 Hour IDRC Program

New Hope Integrated Behavioral Health Care provides the 48 Hour Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) program for individuals from various counties in New Jersey who have been mandated by the court to attend. This program, in compliance with N.J.A.C. 10-162, is designed for participants referred through the Intoxicated Driving Program (IDP). Upon receiving a notice to attend, individuals must contact New Hope to complete a screening and reserve their accommodations by paying a fee of $321. This payment is non-refundable and should be made in advance; accepted payment methods include credit card, money order, or certified check.

Participants are required to remain on the premises for the full duration of the 48 hours, and leaving the grounds will result in a violation of the court order. It is important for non-English speakers to arrange for a translator during the initial hours of the program. Additionally, all clients must present valid photo identification upon admission, such as a state-issued ID, passport, or school ID, which cannot be more than five years old.

For enrollment, individuals can fill out an online form and make payments via PayPal or submit a downloadable form along with their payment to New Hope Integrated Behavioral Health Care. The program also provides essential information regarding what to bring, therapeutic agreements, and rules that must be followed during the stay.
