The Turning Point program is here to help you identify and protect what you value most in your life. You'll participate in activities and group discussions, guided by us to recognize behaviors you might want to change. This gives you the tools and insights to make positive choices. We believe that by working together in a safe space, everyone gets more out of this opportunity to learn and grow.

Understanding Alcohol & Drugs: Educates participants on the health, impairment (especially driving-related), work, psychological, and relational risks of alcohol and drug use. It covers legal limits (like BAC) and signs of misuse/addiction.

OVI Consequences: Details the severe legal, financial, and personal repercussions of Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI).

Making Better Choices: Teaches skills to identify risky behaviors and make positive decisions.

Individual Check-in & Support: All participants receive an alcohol/drug screening. High-risk individuals may be referred for further assessment, requiring a release of information for referrals and court reporting.

Group Sessions: Facilitated by Chemical Dependency professionals, these sessions encourage participants to examine their own behavior patterns in a supportive group setting.

8-Hour Remedial Drivers Program (Two-Point Credit): Integrated into the DIP program, this component aims to improve driving skills, promote safe driving, and can offer a two-point credit on an Ohio driving record.
