The Stevens' Center Driver Intervention Program (DIP) aims to educate participants on the serious dangers and consequences of drinking and driving. With a commitment to promoting safety through Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) education, the program offers comprehensive assessments and staff recommendations as required by Ohio state regulations. Participants can choose from various services, including alcohol and chemical dependency assessments, individual counseling, a 48-hour intervention program, and additional educational services ranging from 6 to 30 hours. The program also provides Substance Abuse Professional (S.A.P.) services to help meet the requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
The 72-hour DIP includes accommodations at Embassy Suites in Independence or Comfort Inn in Cleveland Airport, with costs varying by room type. Prices for shared rooms start at $299, with single rooms costing $549, and all rates include meals and breakfast without hidden fees. The program is equipped with experienced, state-certified staff and offers easy online registration, free screenings with attendance, and personalized handling of all court paperwork. Participants can also benefit from premium amenities such as complimentary meals, Wi-Fi, and on-site hotel security. The DIP is scheduled throughout 2024, with various dates available, ensuring flexibility for participants seeking to fulfill their educational and legal obligations while receiving support in a respectful and dignified environment.
