Driver Intervention Services
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Health Solutions, LLC (CRBHS) offers a comprehensive 72-Hour Driver Intervention Program (DIP) designed for individuals who have been arrested for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). This residential program aims to educate participants on the physical, psychological, and social impacts of alcohol and drug use, ultimately reducing the likelihood of future offenses. Certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services, the program encourages individuals to reflect on the behaviors and thought patterns that contributed to their arrest.
Throughout the program, participants engage in various educational activities, including lectures, videos, classwork, and group discussions, which equip them with the necessary knowledge to make healthier choices moving forward. The total cost for the program is $400, encompassing lodging at a hotel, meals, and programming. A $50 deposit is required to secure a spot, with full payment due one week prior to the program date. Monthly sessions are held in Guernsey County (Cambridge, Ohio), with the check-in process beginning at 6:30 PM on Thursdays and concluding at 6:30 PM on Sundays. Participants must be drug and alcohol-free to attend, and late arrivals will not be permitted. For those seeking additional privacy, private room accommodations may be available for an extra fee.
