The Addictions service line offers comprehensive treatment for substance use disorders, with a primary focus on opioid addiction, catering to adolescents, adults, and families. This program includes essential services such as assessments, day reporting, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and counseling, delivered in outpatient, residential, and jail settings across Brown, Butler, Clinton, Hamilton, and Warren counties.
Crisis Stabilization is a specialized 14-bed mental health residential treatment program aimed at stabilizing clients and preventing psychiatric hospitalizations. This program provides individual and group therapy, medication management, and features a rapid response room for short-term stays, with referrals handled through Central Connection.
The Engagement Center acts as a triage unit for individuals facing opioid addiction challenges, particularly those who have experienced overdoses or are at high risk of relapse due to withdrawal. Focused on facilitating treatment engagement and discharge planning for sustainable recovery, this center is partially funded by the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, with additional grants from various charitable foundations.
Moreover, the Mental Health Day Reporting program offers a structured alternative to incarceration for Hamilton County residents with mental health diagnoses, integrating services such as monitoring, case management, and life skills training. Finally, the Opioid Treatment Program provides individualized assessments, counseling, and case management, employing a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-tier methadone treatment for individuals struggling with opioid addiction.
