The Tri-State Driver Intervention Program (TSDIP) is a comprehensive 72-hour course certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, designed to address the needs of individuals with driving-related offenses. The program costs $475.00, with an option for Ohio DIP clients to pay a $100.00 administrative fee to mitigate 2 points on their driving record. Payment is accepted in cash, cashier's checks, or money orders only, and a $100.00 deposit is required to secure a spot. Spaces are limited, so it's essential to check the closing date and ensure the remaining balance is paid 24 hours before the program begins.
Participants will stay in a provided lodging facility, with all meals included. Private rooms are available for an additional fee. Participants are responsible for managing their medications, which must be in original containers and limited to the duration of the program. Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited, with dismissal enforced for violations. Attendees may make calls during free time but cannot receive calls to maintain program flow.
Those who arrive after 7:00 PM or under the influence will not be admitted. Cancellations must be communicated to the program director promptly, with rescheduling allowed under certain conditions. Participants are advised against bringing large sums of money, valuables, or electronic devices, and must adhere to the dress code and other program guidelines. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.
