Driver Intervention Program

The Project Solutions Driver Intervention Program (DIP) offers a certified 3-day educational experience approved by the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services Board, designed as an alternative to jail for individuals convicted of OVI/DUI. This engaging program features an innovative, activity-based curriculum that includes individual screenings, group discussions, and impactful guest speakers to facilitate learning and personal growth.

The 3-day program is available for a cost of $400 for shared rooms and $625 for private rooms, with limited availability. The sessions run from Thursday at 6 PM to Sunday at 6 PM at the Comfort Inn located at 5345 Broadmoor Circle, Canton, Ohio. The DIP is scheduled to take place on specific weekends throughout 2024, including April 25-28, May 16-19, June 20-23, and several other dates into December.

In addition, a new 6-day Driver Intervention Program is now offered, running from Thursday at 6 PM to Tuesday at 6 PM. This comprehensive option is priced at $1,000, with payment plans available. The 6-day sessions will also be held at the Comfort Inn and are scheduled for May 18-21, July 18-23, and September 26-October 1, 2024.

To participate, individuals can register by completing a quick phone registration, submit their payment online or by mail, and arrive on the scheduled date between 5:45 PM and 6 PM. This program aims to provide a supportive and educational environment for individuals seeking to make positive changes in their lives.
