New Directions Northwest is dedicated to offering comprehensive addiction treatment services and promoting community education and prevention programs. Located in Baker County, Oregon, we provide a wide range of services designed to support individuals struggling with addiction to alcohol, drugs, and gambling. Our programs are tailored to meet state requirements for DUI/MIP education and treatment, and include domestic violence and relapse prevention groups, as well as family counseling, parenting, and anger management classes. We understand the profound impact that addiction can have on individuals, families, and communities, and work diligently to offer a continuum of care in partnership with the Local Alcohol and Drug Planning Committee.

Our approach to drug and alcohol addiction is integrated, addressing both the physical aspects of withdrawal and the underlying mental health issues that contribute to substance use. Through our outpatient programs, we provide essential mental health and addiction services to the residents of Baker County. We also collaborate with the State of Oregon to deliver mental health and developmental disabilities services for various populations, including adults, children, families, and the elderly. Our services encompass crisis intervention, group and marriage counseling, community reintegration programs, and support for transient and indigent individuals. At New Directions Northwest, our goal is to offer effective, compassionate care that empowers individuals to achieve lasting recovery and well-being.
