Morrison's outpatient services provide specialized and collaborative mental health and substance use treatment tailored to the unique needs of each client. Our program supports children and adolescents aged 2-18 dealing with a range of mental health disorders, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, and disruptive behavior. We also offer care for those who have experienced abuse, neglect, or other traumatic events, with additional substance use treatment available when needed.
Understanding each youth's and family's distinct background, history, identity, and culture is fundamental to our approach. We build strong therapeutic relationships by integrating this understanding into treatment plans that address symptoms, concerns, and foster resilience. Services include individual and family therapy, psychiatric assessment, medication management, case management, and parent education.
Our community-based outpatient services cater to children and adolescents with acute mental health needs, offering more frequent and intensive support within their home or community. This may involve skills training, case management, medication management, and after-hours crisis support, with services typically requiring prior authorization from insurance.
In collaboration with local school districts, Morrison’s school-based outpatient services place therapists within schools to overcome barriers to treatment. These therapists address all mental health disorders and provide individual and family therapy, though parent or caregiver consent and involvement are required. This option offers added convenience for many families while maintaining comprehensive care.
