Yamhill County Substance Use Programs provide a comprehensive range of alcohol and drug treatment services tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. Our team of Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselors works closely with clients to develop personalized recovery plans that ensure effective and supportive care.

To help individuals determine the most suitable treatment options, we offer a no-cost screening and orientation session, typically conducted in a group setting. For those in high-risk situations, individual screening appointments are also available. We accept most private medical insurance plans and the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and provide a sliding fee scale for those who qualify, which can be discussed in a separate appointment with our fee assessment specialist.

Following the screening, a thorough assessment is conducted by one of our counselors to evaluate the client's needs and determine the appropriate level of care. If necessary, we can assist in facilitating placement into short-term detoxification or inpatient treatment programs, although these services may have waiting lists.

Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition into outpatient care, offering aftercare services that focus on relapse prevention and integration into the recovery community. Additionally, we provide culturally competent services for Spanish-speaking clients at our Newberg and McMinnville offices, with staff who collaborate closely with culturally specific residential treatment programs in Oregon.

For those facing legal issues related to driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII), we offer a state-licensed program that includes both education and treatment, with regular monitored urinalyses. Successful completion of this program satisfies the Oregon DMV's treatment requirements. We accept OHP and most private insurance plans for DUII services.
