The Burns Paiute Social Services Programs are dedicated to providing comprehensive and culturally relevant support to meet the financial, social, and emotional needs of individuals, families, and children in the Burns Paiute Tribal community and Native Americans in Harney County. Our diverse range of services includes child welfare, elder services, foster home certification, general assistance, child care, food distribution, domestic violence and sexual assault programs, as well as various prevention and intervention programs.
Our Alcohol and Drug Program recognizes addiction as a progressive disease and prioritizes patient-centered care. We offer individual and group counseling, DUII and MIP classes, gambling assessments, crisis intervention, and support for LGBTQIA2S individuals. We are committed to continuous improvement and applying cultural best practices in our treatment approach.
