Options for Southern Oregon is dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages in addressing mental health and addiction treatment needs through a holistic and comprehensive approach. Our services encompass housing, advocacy, community integration, crisis intervention, therapy, co-occurring issues, education, work, and economic well-being, aimed at fostering mental and emotional health for children, adults, and families. We prioritize client participation and integration as respected community members.
Our therapists, including counselors, social workers, marriage and family counselors, and clinical psychologists, are often the initial point of contact for those seeking assistance with unresolved issues. They employ evidence-based treatment models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients define wellness goals, overcome fears, cope with stress, improve relationships, and establish stable routines. Each therapy plan is customized based on an individual assessment of strengths and needs.
Beyond traditional therapy, Options provides services like Case Management, Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) educational classes, and employment and education assistance when necessary. Our treatment approach is collaborative, involving both the individual and our staff to ensure a supportive partnership in recovery.
With a network of therapists working in various community settings such as colleges, medical offices, and public safety programs, Options ensures accessible and convenient care. We also maintain strong partnerships with other mental health agencies and private therapists, offering a broad range of choices and easy access to mental health services in our community.
