Teras offers state-approved programs for substance use disorder, domestic violence intervention, and anger management. During the COVID-19 crisis, we remain open and are accepting new clients. Our outpatient alcohol and drug treatment services, including DUII and diversion programs, are among the most affordable in the area. We provide discounts for self-paying clients who opt for cash or advance payments. For those who do not qualify for Oregon Health Plan (OHP) but still need financial assistance, we have a state contract offering support.

Medicaid, through the Oregon Health Plan, now covers all costs for chemical dependency treatment, including DUII services. We accept various payment methods, including PayPal, cash, credit/debit cards, and third-party reimbursements. Teras is currently accepting members from HealthShare and OHP Open Card/DMAP, though we are not part of the Trillium CCO Network. If your OHP is from Multnomah, Washington, or Clackamas County, you may have HealthShare, which is accepted here. For those with OHP outside the Portland area, please check with your local CCO regarding transfer options.

We also accept private insurance plans, though coverage varies, and it’s important to verify how much your plan will cover for out-of-network services. Teras staff will inform clients of any services not covered by Medicaid/OHP before charges are applied. For additional information on how to sign up for our treatment services or to support Teras during the COVID-19 crisis, please visit our website.
