Nexus Care of Beaufort County, a key component of Beaufort County Government, is dedicated to addressing substance abuse issues affecting our community. Established under South Carolina law, Nexus Care is one of 46 agencies committed to supporting individuals and families grappling with alcohol, tobacco, and other drug-related challenges. Licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, and internationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Nexus Care upholds rigorous national and international standards for quality care. Since its inception in 1974, Nexus Care has been proactive in developing initiatives designed to address and prevent substance abuse.
