Who We Are

Founded in 1972, the Tri-County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse has been a dedicated resource for families and individuals impacted by substance abuse. Our long-standing commitment is to provide comprehensive support addressing the physical, mental, and emotional challenges associated with alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. With decades of experience, we are deeply aware of the profound effects substance abuse can have and are here to offer the guidance and assistance needed for recovery.

ADSAP (DUI)

The South Carolina Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP) is a statewide initiative aimed at reducing risks for individuals convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and those facing license suspensions through the state’s Administrative License Revocation (ALR) process. This mandatory program offers education and treatment to help individuals address their substance use issues and comply with legal requirements.

What to Expect

Upon enrollment, our clinical staff will guide you through the ADSAP process. You will receive an informational packet with details about the program and helpful tips for successful completion. Our administrative team will review forms related to policies, procedures, and financial responsibilities. Additionally, an ADSAP clinical counselor will conduct a thorough assessment to determine your specific needs and the appropriate level of care.

What to Bring

For your initial visit, please bring your current 10-year driver’s record (dated within the last 30 days), a valid identification card, and be prepared for costs ranging from $500 to $2,500, depending on your needs. Payment plans are available to accommodate various financial situations.
