Rubicon, Inc. is dedicated to addressing human service needs in Darlington County through a range of prevention, intervention, and treatment strategies. Our mission is to strengthen, enhance, and maintain the effective functioning of families and individuals, ultimately improving the overall health and well-being of community residents.

One of our key initiatives is the Alcohol & Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP), administered in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS). This program provides essential assessment, education, and treatment services for individuals convicted of driving under the influence (DUI). According to South Carolina law, completing the ADSAP program is a requirement for re-licensing with the Division of Motor Vehicles. Our services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual.

Additionally, our Alcohol & Other Drug Education Program focuses on combating underage drinking by educating youth about the severe consequences of alcohol and drug use. We engage students from ages four to ten through various interactive and age-appropriate educational methods, including puppet shows, role-playing, video presentations, PowerPoint, and creative activities. These techniques are designed to effectively convey the dangers of substance abuse and promote healthier choices among young learners.
