The New Life Center is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of residents in Allendale, Hampton, and Jasper Counties, South Carolina, by offering a comprehensive system of outpatient services aimed at addressing addiction and co-dependency. The center’s mission is to mitigate the adverse health, social, and economic impacts of these issues through affordable and high-quality programs that foster a safe and supportive community environment.

Key services provided by the New Life Center include the Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP), which is mandated for individuals convicted of DUI in South Carolina. This program involves individual assessments and tailored education or treatment to minimize the risk of repeat offenses. Additionally, the center offers Outpatient Services that encompass individual, family, and group counseling for those struggling with alcohol and drug abuse.

The center also focuses on Youth and Adolescent Services, targeting young individuals aged 13 to 17 who are either already abusing substances or exhibiting behaviors that may lead to substance use. Referrals often come from schools and the Department of Juvenile Justice, but parents are encouraged to seek help if they notice concerning behaviors.

In its Prevention Program, the New Life Center provides educational workshops on topics such as drug and tobacco abuse, alcohol misuse, fetal alcohol syndrome, and stress management. The program collaborates with youth organizations, community agencies, and churches to raise awareness and educate the public about the risks associated with substance use. Additional prevention services include informational resources, educational presentations, health fairs, and a lending library.
