If your driver's license has been suspended due to substance use issues, Keystone is here to guide you through the process of meeting the state-approved Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP) requirements for relicensing. Keystone collaborates with the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles to ensure you fulfill all necessary criteria. Upon enrollment, you will undergo a screening and potentially a bio-psycho-social assessment to determine the most suitable educational and/or treatment program for your needs.

To begin, participants must provide a 10-year driving record and a valid photo ID, such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID. A partial deposit of $250 is required at enrollment, which can be paid by cash, check, or credit card. Expect to spend 1 to 2 hours at Keystone on the day of enrollment for the initial assessment. Program costs, ranging from $500 to $2,500, are based on the assessment and are payable according to state regulations. Payment plans are available, and additional lab service charges apply.

Completion of the program involves adhering to the recommended education or treatment plan and settling all fees as per state law. If financial hardship is documented, 50 hours of community service may be an alternative. Keystone’s ADSAP program is available for those convicted of DUI or BUI, or who have had their license revoked through the Administrative License Revocation (ALR) procedure. Keystone is committed to supporting you through every step to help you regain your driving privileges and achieve lasting recovery.
