CADAS offers comprehensive educational courses each month for individuals convicted of driving under the influence (DUI), driving while intoxicated (DWI), underage possession of alcohol, and related offenses. These courses focus on educating students about alcohol and drug use, addiction, and the adverse physical, psychological, and familial effects associated with substance abuse. Every participant undergoes an alcohol and drug evaluation, which is reviewed individually by a professional. If necessary, referrals are provided to address substance abuse, mental health, and emotional concerns.
Classes are held twice a month and are designed to accommodate various work schedules, offering one 12-hour session per month. Students who may struggle with reading or understanding written material are encouraged to bring someone to assist with assignments. In addition to DUI offenders, many parents enroll their teenagers to help them understand the risks of drinking and driving.
CADAS also provides out-of-state evaluations for individuals convicted of DUI or similar offenses in other states. These evaluations help clients fulfill the necessary requirements for driver’s license renewal. With flexible scheduling and a focus on individualized support, CADAS aims to help participants address their substance use issues and work toward a safer, healthier future.
