The DUI programs offered aim to support individuals in understanding the impact of alcohol and drug use on their lives, behaviors, and communities. The Basic DUI Program focuses on educating offenders about the physiological and legal effects of alcohol and drugs, blood alcohol levels, laws, symptoms of substance dependency, and making positive life choices. By exploring personal drinking habits and drug use, participants are encouraged to improve their behaviors and reduce the likelihood of reoffending.
For repeat offenders, the Advanced DUI Program builds upon the foundations of the Basic program, delving deeper into the effects of their drinking behavior on themselves and others. This program emphasizes self-awareness and chemical dependence, utilizing resources such as Alcoholics Anonymous and the 12-step model to support change.
The PRIME for Life program is a risk-reduction initiative designed to help participants assess their alcohol and drug-related behaviors. The program focuses on reducing risk and encouraging individuals to make changes that protect their well-being. Based on extensive research, PRIME for Life respects the diverse experiences of participants and fosters an environment where new information and support lead to lasting behavior changes. By providing education, time to process, and genuine support, the program empowers individuals to rethink their beliefs and make healthier choices.
