SAIL-AOD offers various substance addiction classes and assessments approved by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) and Texas Health & Human Services. The DWI Intervention 32-Hour Course is an 8-week program focused on addressing alcohol and drug lifestyle, family impact, stress, and self-esteem. This course is designed for individuals with multiple DWI offenses or those with alcohol/drug-related problems.
Additionally, the Drug Offender Education Program (DOEP) is a 5-session course for those charged with a misdemeanor or felony drug offense in Texas or with a driver's license suspension due to a drug offense. The DWI Education 12-Hour Course is a 3-session program covering Texas laws regarding DWI, the effects of alcohol/drugs on driving skills, and dependency. This course is suitable for individuals convicted of a first-offense DWI or those working towards education requirements for a suspended driver's license.
