A&A Drug and Alcohol Education has a rich history dating back to January 1, 1996, when it was founded by Andrew Samarripa and Amelia Samarripa. Initially established with a focus on providing the Alcohol Education Program for Minors, the company quickly expanded its offerings to include the Texas Drug Offender Education Program, responding to the needs of the community. Over time, they added the DWI education program and the Texas DWI Intervention program, broadening their repertoire of DSHS classes. Today, A&A Drug and Alcohol Education operates out of multiple locations, including Texas City, Webster, Pasadena, Humble, Houston Jones Rd, and Houston Clay Rd, with a dedicated team of 16 certified instructors. Notably, all programs are available in Spanish to cater to a diverse clientele.

Andrew Samarripa, a 4-year military veteran with a Master’s Degree in Police Science and Administration, serves as the program director and owner of the company. With extensive experience, including working as a state trooper and a supervisor with Brazoria County Juvenile Probation, Andrew's leadership has been instrumental in shaping the company's growth. Meanwhile, Amelia Samarripa, known as Millie, brings her expertise as the office administrator, leveraging her background in Business Administration and previous roles at the San Patricio County sheriff’s department and the Brazoria County courthouse. Together, Andrew and Millie have steered A&A Drug and Alcohol Education towards its current standing, constantly striving to meet the evolving needs of their clients and the community. Additionally, the company has expanded its services by becoming certified to conduct behavioral management programs through NCTI, further demonstrating their commitment to providing comprehensive support in the realm of drug and alcohol education.
