Welcome to LifeSteps! We specialize in providing comprehensive alcohol and drug assessments to individuals seeking assistance with substance abuse or chemical dependency issues. Our goal is to identify service needs and determine the best course of action for each individual based on their unique circumstances.

Our alcohol and drug assessments are conducted by appointment only, available on Tuesdays. To schedule an appointment, please call us at 512.246.9880. It's important to note that appointments must be pre-scheduled, as we do not accept same-day appointments.

During the assessment, clients will meet with a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) for a 45 to 60-minute interview. This interview is designed to gather relevant information and evaluate the client's substance abuse or dependency problem thoroughly. Based on the assessment results, our counselor will make recommendations for treatment, education, and/or support groups.

After the assessment, a recommendation letter will be provided to the client's referral source, such as their attorney or probation officer, within 1 to 3 business days of the appointment. This letter outlines the assessment findings and the recommended course of action moving forward.

At LifeSteps, we are committed to providing personalized and professional care to help individuals address their substance abuse challenges effectively. Thank you for considering LifeSteps for your assessment needs. We look forward to assisting you on your journey towards recovery and wellness.
