Texas Counseling and Education, PLLC is committed to providing high-quality substance abuse treatment and educational services to adults in North Texas. Our mission is to offer evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with substance abuse and addictive disorders while making meaningful contributions to the communities we serve. We offer specialized programs designed to educate and support individuals in making informed, responsible choices regarding substance use.

Our Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Education Program is a 12-hour course aimed at increasing participants’ understanding of alcohol and drugs as they relate to driving. The curriculum covers Texas DWI laws, the effects of substances on the human body, chemical dependency, and decision-making skills. This program helps individuals recognize their own patterns of substance use and its impact on their driving abilities.

For those with multiple DWI offenses or substance-related concerns beyond the first offender program, we offer the Repeat Offender Education Program. This 32-hour course focuses on intervention and lifestyle changes to address alcohol and drug abuse. Topics include self-esteem, values, positive thinking, and the impact of substance use on families. The goal is to help participants develop healthier habits and reduce the risk of repeat offenses.

Our Victim Impact Panel is an awareness program for individuals convicted of driving under the influence. This session provides a unique perspective by sharing real-life experiences from those affected by impaired driving. It offers insight that goes beyond traditional court teachings, emphasizing the consequences of driving under the influence.
