Texas Drug Education is a private company dedicated to providing a professional and supportive learning environment for individuals needing to fulfill court-ordered education requirements related to DWI and drug offenses. All of our instructors are certified by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, ensuring that our programs meet state standards for DWI Education, DWI Intervention, and Drug Offender Education Programs (DOEP).

Our DWI Education Program is a 12-hour, state-approved course designed for individuals convicted of DWI, those seeking to fulfill educational requirements while their DWI case is pending, or those working to reinstate a suspended driver’s license. The course is divided into four consecutive three-hour sessions and is presented in a positive and engaging manner, emphasizing evidence-based learning. Participants will gain a better understanding of the effects of alcohol on the body, improve their decision-making regarding alcohol and drug use, and learn strategies for self-improvement. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate, with a copy sent to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). The course fee is $150.

Our DWI Intervention Program is a more intensive 30-hour course, also state-approved and certified, aimed at individuals with multiple DWI or drug-related offenses, those who have completed the DWI Education or DOEP courses, or those ordered to take the course for other reasons. Spanning seven and a half weeks, with classes held twice a week in two-hour segments, this program focuses on intervening in substance-abusing lifestyles to prevent further issues. The course emphasizes values, self-esteem, positive thinking, and responsibility, providing participants with tools to make lasting changes. Upon completion, a certificate is issued and sent to the Texas DPS. The course fee is $300.
