ROSE Counseling Center, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in South Austin, Texas, is dedicated to providing counseling and substance abuse services to clients and their families across Central Texas. Our mission is to offer personalized support tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring a compassionate and effective approach to recovery.

We strive to make our services accessible to all by offering affordable sliding scale fees. Our friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff are committed to inspiring, educating, and guiding clients through every step of their recovery journey.

Our Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) certified 12-hour DWI Education (DWIE) Program aims to educate DWI offenders about the severe impacts of alcohol and drugs on driving skills, including the potential tragic consequences. Participants learn to identify their personal substance use habits and how these behaviors influence their driving patterns. Each class, led by a state-certified counselor, provides tools for recognizing and avoiding future incidents through multimedia presentations, tutorials, and candid group discussions. Classes are available throughout the month.

For those with multiple DWI offenses or more severe substance abuse issues, our TDLR certified 32-hour DWI Intervention (DWII) Program offers an intensive, in-depth curriculum. This program is mandated by Article 42.12, Section 13(j) of the Code of Criminal Procedures, requiring individuals convicted of subsequent DWI offenses to attend a TDLR approved "Repeat Offenders" program. Failure to complete this program results in the revocation of the offender's license until completion. The DWII Program addresses more complex issues and provides robust strategies to prevent future DWI incidents and promote long-term recovery.
