Welcome to Substance Abuse Guidance and Education, where our comprehensive programs aim to provide support, education, and intervention for individuals struggling with substance abuse and related issues. Our various services cater to different needs and circumstances, ensuring that clients receive the assistance they require to make positive changes in their lives.
Our Battering Intervention and Prevention Programs (BIPP) in Texas are dedicated to eradicating male-to-female intimate partner violence. Through a combination of services for batterers, support for victims, and advocacy for social change, we strive to end all forms of abuse and promote safety within relationships.
For those seeking outpatient services, we offer Supportive Outpatient Services designed to equip clients with essential life skills, coping mechanisms, and healthy communication strategies. With a curriculum spanning 15 weeks, including didactic and psychoeducational groups paired with individual counseling, participants receive personalized support tailored to their needs.
We also provide Online Supportive Outpatient Services facilitated through Zoom, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients. These virtual sessions cover similar content to our in-person program, focusing on addiction treatment, coping skills, and fostering healthy communication.
In addition, our Intensive Outpatient Services offer a more concentrated approach, with a curriculum spanning 6 and a half weeks. Through in-depth didactic sessions and individual counseling, participants receive intensive support to address their substance abuse issues and develop essential life skills.
Furthermore, Substance Use Disorder and Substance Abuse Services are available for adults involved with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) or Child Protective Services (CPS). Partnering with DFPS, we offer Supportive, Intensive, or Relapse Track capacity services to address substance abuse within the context of ongoing case management.
Lastly, we are contracted with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) to provide substance abuse treatment services for clients within the criminal justice system. Through these partnerships and programs, Substance Abuse Guidance and Education is committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards recovery and positive change.
