Our DWI Education course is a state-approved program designed for individuals who have been convicted of driving while intoxicated (DWI) or have had their license suspended due to a DWI-related offense. This 12-hour course, offered over three consecutive days, covers topics such as the effects of alcohol on the body, legal consequences, and strategies for preventing future incidents. Completion of this program is required for license reinstatement after a DWI-related suspension and may be court-ordered.
We also offer a 32-hour DWI Intervention Program for repeat offenders, which aims to prevent future incidents and address non-DWI related alcohol issues. This program, typically taken over 7.5 weeks, helps individuals identify problematic drinking behaviors, make informed choices, and develop strategies to handle peer pressure.
Additional requirements for individuals charged with DWI in Texas include attending a Victim Impact Panel Course and potentially undergoing a Substance Abuse Evaluation, Intensive Outpatient Program, or Supportive Outpatient Program. Our programs meet specific curriculum requirements and are designed to support individuals in achieving wellness and preventing future incidents.
