Counseling & Education Services (CES) offers a range of virtual Alcohol/Drug and Family Violence assessments, along with education classes designed to promote public safety and reduce crime. CES primarily serves adults and juveniles referred by criminal justice affiliates in Travis County. All programs aim to address substance use and related behaviors through evidence-based, state-certified courses.

CES provides various Alcohol and Drug (AOD) education classes, required by Texas law for certain offenses. These include 8-hour and 12-hour AOD classes, available in Spanish, that educate participants on the effects of substance use and help them make informed decisions about their relationship with alcohol and drugs. CES also offers a 15-hour Drug Offender Education Program, mandated for individuals whose driver's licenses have been suspended due to drug-related convictions. This course focuses on the impact of drug use and illegal activities on personal and community life, encouraging participants to develop healthier behavioral choices.

For individuals convicted of DWI offenses, CES offers both DWI Education and DWI Intervention programs. The DWI Education class, a 12-hour course, is required for first-time offenders, while the more intensive 30-hour DWI Intervention program is for repeat offenders. Both courses emphasize the consequences of impaired driving and aim to prevent future offenses.

CES also provides a Minor in Possession (MIP) program for individuals under 21 who have been charged with alcohol-related offenses. This 6-hour class educates minors on the legal and behavioral consequences of alcohol use, with the goal of reducing future alcohol-related incidents. All classes are available in Spanish and for the hearing impaired.
