The Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Board (RRCS) was established in 1972 through the collaboration of local governments within Virginia's Planning District 9, which includes Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties. This regional service provider was created under the directives of the Virginia General Assembly and the Federal Older American Act, in accordance with the Code of Virginia. The mission of RRCS is to enhance the quality of life for residents of these communities by delivering a broad range of services. These include comprehensive behavioral health support, intellectual disability services, substance use disorder treatment, and aging services. By addressing these critical areas, RRCS plays a vital role in supporting the well-being and overall health of the region's citizens.
