Our Substance Abuse and Addiction Services are designed to address the complex and varied challenges associated with substance use, abuse, and dependency across all life stages. With a deep understanding of the impact that chemical use can have on mental health, relationships, and personal goals, our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. We work collaboratively with individuals to establish clear goals and develop effective, healthy strategies for behavioral change.

Adolescents and young adults, who often face significant emotional and behavioral challenges, are particularly vulnerable to substance abuse. To address this, we incorporate substance abuse education and addiction counseling as essential components of treatment for clients in this age group. Our approach ensures that clients receive the preventive care and support necessary to navigate these critical developmental stages.

Every journey begins with a comprehensive evaluation to determine the appropriate intervention strategies. Our evaluations consider a wide range of factors, including substance use history, mental health status, family dynamics, and environmental influences. We offer specialized evaluations such as mental health and substance abuse assessments, court-ordered evaluations, family law case evaluations, and Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP) evaluations, with certification by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and inclusion on the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program (VASAP) list.

In addition to counseling, we provide substance abuse education workshops that can be customized to meet individual, family, or group needs, including meeting specific requirements set by schools, courts, or other systems. Contact us for more information on upcoming workshops or to discuss personalized program options.
