Kimbely Williams offers counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, providing a supportive and non-judgmental space to overcome life's challenges. With a Christian perspective, Kimbely helps clients find their purpose and develop their best self. She specializes in therapy for adults and teens struggling with alcohol and drug use, including relapse, and provides codependency and support counseling to family members.
With over 13 years of experience in mental health, Kimbely has worked with clients aged 14 and up, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, and trauma. She also offers parenting counsel, drawing from her 30 years of parenting experience. Kimbely's approach is tailored to meet each client's unique needs, providing tools and support to achieve their goals.
Kimbely holds a Master of Social Work degree from Catholic University and Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Mass Communications from VCU. She is state-certified as a Substance Abuse Counselor by the VA Board of Health Professions and receives supervision from Heather Shaheen, LCSW. With her expertise and compassionate approach, Kimbely empowers clients to find hope, healing, and purpose in their lives.
