Horizon’s Substance Use Treatment services are designed to address addiction and related behavioral issues through a comprehensive approach tailored to individuals and families across all ages, starting as young as two. Our program offers a range of treatment options, including traditional outpatient therapies, community-based outpatient care, and residential recovery services, each carefully designed to meet the unique needs of our clients.
Our clinical teams are highly trained in evidence-based treatment modalities and Trauma-Informed Care, ensuring that both one-on-one and group therapy sessions effectively address the complexities of addiction. Group therapies, led by specialized clinicians, provide a supportive environment for discussing the underlying causes of addiction and strategies for maintaining sobriety.
A key component of our substance use disorder treatment is the integration of Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS). These individuals, who have personal experience with substance use or mental health challenges, play a crucial role as role models, advocates, and sources of support. They foster pro-social behaviors, help clients connect with recovery resources, and lead both individual and group counseling sessions. Through this peer support, clients are empowered to navigate the challenges of addiction and work towards sustained recovery.
