NRVCS partners with consumers and community agencies to offer innovative, evidence-based programs for individuals with substance use disorders. These services are designed to benefit both the individual and the community, providing comprehensive support tailored to various needs.

The Drug Court program in Pulaski, Montgomery, Giles, and Floyd counties offers non-violent offenders with substance abuse-related charges an alternative to incarceration. Participants voluntarily enter the program, which combines substance abuse treatment with intensive judicial supervision, frequent drug screenings, community service, and the pursuit of employment or educational goals.

NRVCS' Intensive Outpatient Program, known as "Stepping Stones," is a group-oriented treatment model for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient services but do not require inpatient care. The program offers three levels of intensity based on individual needs.

At the New Life Recovery Center, clients live in a 10-bed residential facility and receive a blend of evidence-based therapies, including individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, SMART recovery, and peer support. The program focuses on developing life skills, emotional regulation, and communication, with family support and case management services available.

The FLASH program provides support for families of individuals with substance use disorders. This free and confidential group meets weekly, offering family members the opportunity to learn and support their loved ones' recovery.

The Bridge Program is a jail diversion initiative that offers treatment to individuals in the criminal justice system with mental health or co-occurring disorders. It includes groups like Seeking Safety, which focuses on trauma and substance use disorders, and Beyond the Bars, which teaches coping skills and encourages pro-social behaviors.

Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT) at NRVCS combines medication with counseling and behavioral therapies, offering a research-based approach to treating substance use disorders, including the use of Suboxone/subutex alongside group or individual counseling.
