W.H.O. is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families within the community through the support of a highly professional staff. The organization's programs are designed to equip participants with essential life skills, helping them navigate various challenges such as probation, substance abuse, budgeting, SSI, and homelessness, while also advocating for and managing medical appointments. By focusing on these areas, W.H.O. strives to improve the overall quality of life for those they serve.
Among its offerings, W.H.O. provides specialized VASAP (Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program) groups, which focus on substance abuse education and relapse prevention. These groups are structured to help individuals fulfill the requirements of the VASAP program, with sessions scheduled weekly according to individual needs and recommendations. For added convenience, W.H.O. also offers a weekend program to assist participants in meeting VASAP requirements efficiently.
