Comprehensive Behavioral Health Services
The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) offers a wide range of services to support individuals and families struggling with behavioral health issues, including substance use and mental health concerns. Our comprehensive approach addresses the unique needs of each individual, providing a continuum of care that includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, case management, and counseling services.
Substance Use and Prevention Services
RBHA provides various levels of care for adults experiencing substance use disorders, including outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, office-based opioid treatment, and residential services. Our Women's Services team offers specialized support for pregnant and parenting women, addressing their unique needs through gender-responsive and trauma-informed care.
Treatment and Support
Our services are designed to meet individuals where they are in their recovery journey. We offer individualized treatment planning, coordination of services, and supportive counseling, as well as referrals to community resources such as housing, employment, and medical care. Our peer support specialists, who have experienced successful recovery themselves, provide guidance and encouragement throughout the recovery process.
