At MERIT, our drug addiction treatment program is designed to guide individuals towards a brighter, healthier future through comprehensive, CARF-accredited services. We provide specialized care for adults, teens, and children struggling with substance abuse, ensuring that each client receives a personalized treatment plan based on a thorough clinical assessment. Our programs include intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services, with telehealth options available for both English and Spanish speakers, to make the recovery process as accessible as possible.
The treatment journey begins with a detailed evaluation to determine the most suitable program, followed by a collaborative approach where a counselor or care manager helps develop a treatment plan tailored to the individual's needs. IOP services typically involve three weekly sessions over 6-8 weeks, gradually transitioning to less frequent outpatient care. We also offer support for those navigating legal systems, such as drug court programs or deferred prosecution cases.
Recovery at MERIT is an ongoing process that extends beyond initial detoxification. Our approach aligns with the six dimensions of ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine), continually assessing factors like readiness to change, relapse potential, and living environment. Even after completing the initial phases of treatment, we encourage follow-up care and participation in relapse prevention programs to reinforce long-term recovery.
Understanding that recovery is a lengthy and challenging journey, we emphasize the importance of patience and continued support from family, friends, and professionals. Drug addiction deeply affects all aspects of life, and overcoming it requires sustained effort and time to rebuild healthier patterns and coping strategies.
