At ETS, our opioid treatment program is federally accredited and combines medication-assisted treatment with essential rehabilitative services. We primarily utilize methadone or buprenorphine as the cornerstone of treatment, which begins with patients visiting the clinic daily to receive their medication from a dispensing nurse. This structured and intensive daily treatment is particularly effective for those who respond well to methadone, providing the stability needed for recovery. As patients progress, some may transition to less frequent clinic visits, with medications dispensed in weekly or even monthly take-home quantities.
